OATS

Morgan Oats:

This white hulled, conventional height milling oat has high grain yield and very good lodging resistance.

TRITICALE

Tyndal Triticale:

Tyndal is a standard height spring triticale that provides reduced awn expression and is intended for use as a feed grain or silage or for sale into the expanding ethanol market.

Sunray Triticale

This new triticale is the first triticale variety with ergot resistance.  Ergot can be a problem when triticale is used as a feed grain because it is toxic to animals and reduces grain yield.  Sunray is high yielding and matures two days earlier than the check varieties AC Ultima, Pronghorn and Bumper.  It is short with good straw strength, lodging resistance and has resistance to certain types of rust including UG 99.
